All eyes were on Halsey at the launch party of her second beauty brand, AF94, on Thursday evening. The singer, who celebrated the line’s debut with a carnival-themed extravaganza in Los Angeles, dressed in a bold, standout outfit for the occasion. Sold exclusively at Walmart, AF94 is an affordable “made-to-play” makeup brand aimed at younger shoppers.
Styled by Lyn Alyson, the founder wore a velvet and mesh corset with attached sheer gloves, paired with a matching midi skirt with a sky-high side slit resembling a sarong. The spotlight-stealing baby-blue set came from Spain-based brand Sketch-Y, while Halsey accessorized with Barbie-pink heels, a furry white purse, and rings from Pianegonda and Lilou Jewelry over the opera gloves. The “So Good” singer knows how to rock all the trends, from the low-rise silhouette to a corset bodice and gloves. Their glam mirrored the vibrancy of the look, as she sported red Bantu knots and a colorful eye look.
Whether it’s a sheer lace dress at the Oscars afterparty or a cutout crystal jumpsuit at an award show, Halsey has never shied away from a daring outfit. Even for more casual events, the new mom manages to turn heads. While sitting courtside at a Lakers game with boyfriend Alev Aydin in November, they wore pants with dramatic hip cutouts and low-rise leather pants decorated with flames for a Harry Styles concert.
