Ugg was founded by a young Aussie surfer in 1978 and made a name for itself by using only the softest sheepskin to create fluffy slippers and boots, which rose to fame in the 2000s thanks to It girls like Pairs Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan taking a shine to them.
After booming onto our Instagram feeds, the brand is back and is rebranding its styles as essential winter footwear. So what is it that we and the rest of the fashion world, are loving about the Ugg boot? Firstly, the colour palette is perfect. This season, you can choose from classics like tan, chocolate brown and black, as well as fun bright colours (hello Barbiecore pink), whites and luxe greys.
