Jillian Armenante To Guest On The Jimmy Star Show With Ron Russell Wednesday May 2nd, 2018

Jillian Armenante will be a featured guest on the Jimmy Star Show with Ron Russell live radio/tv show hosted by King of Cool Jimmy Star along with Cool Man About Town Ron Russell to discuss her new film STUCK, her career and the entertainment industries at large.

Jillian Armenante was recently named Best New Director by the prestigious NewFilmmakers LA. She is a member of the AWD, PGA, SAG-AFTRA, AEA. Her company Stoic Entertainment is developing KITTENS IN A CAGE into an animated series with the Emmy Award winning Bento Box Entertainment. Stoic is also currently in development deals with WeTV and Film Afrika.

Ms. Armenante produced and directed the comedy STUCK by Heather Turman and David Mickel starring Heather Matarazzo, Joel McHale, Felicia Day and many more. Stuck just won Best feature at the Scottish Indie Film Fest and was chosen for the Hollywood Reel Indie FF (nominated Best Picture, Best Actress), First Glance FF (nominated Best Director, winner Best Comedy) the Pasadena International Film Fest, the Artemis Film Fest (Best Picture- Pro Action, Best Director), the Atlanta Indie Film Fest, and the New York City Indie Film Fest.

She produced and directed THE LIST by Kelleen Conway Blanchard, starring Saffron Burrows winner of the Hollywood Reel Indie FF for Best Short Film.

She executive produced, wrote, directed and acted in the original series KITTENS IN A CAGE based on the play by Kelleen Conway Blanchard, with Michelle Monaghan, Amy Brenneman, Misha Collins and many more. KITTENS IN A CAGE was selected for the New York Television Festival and just received a Best Feature Award as well from NewFilmmakers LA.

Jillian Armenante was named Top 100 New Media Content Creators by the New Media Film Festival.

Armenante worked in Iraq where she participated, with a grant from the US State
Department, as a director for the ART OF SOCIAL JUSTICE FESTIVAL and the Iraqi
premiere of Heather Raffo’s NINE PARTS OF DESIRE.

As an actress, her film credits include BACKSEAT, HAIL,CEASAR!, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, BAD TEACHER, A MIGHTY HEART, NORTH COUNTRY and GIRL, INTERRUPTED.

Her TV credits include BETTER CALL SAUL, FRESH OFF THE BOAT (recurring as
Nancy), SCANDAL, THE FOSTERS, SHAMELESS, PARTY DOWN, CASTLE, THE
CLOSER, PRIVATE PRACTICE, GREY’S ANATOMY, E.R., SIX FEET UNDER, THE
WEST WING, and NORTHERN EXPOSURE. She was a series regular (130 episodes)
