Episode 8 of Branding in Seongsu documented the return of Kang Na-On after the accident. However, due to the swapped souls, So Eun-Ho’s soul was trapped inside her. Meanwhile, Na-On was already living inside the intern’s body; all the while, her body was in the hospital. By the end of the episode, the two tried to swap their souls back and smiled at each other. While it is still unclear whether they successfully returned to their bodies, an impending secret raises tension in the series.
Branding in Seongsu episode 8: Kim Ji-Eun & Lomon try to reverse their mistake
The latest Branding in Seongsu episode began with where the previous episode had left off. While still living in So Eun-Ho’s body, Kang Na-On arrived at the hospital after discovering her body was in danger. As the doctors tended her body, she caught a glimpse of the criminal trying to kill her. She followed the man and caught hold of him wearing the rabbit mask.
However, just as Na-On was about to remove the mask, she heard a screeching sound and fell to the ground. By then, the criminal escaped, leaving the mask in her hands. After Na-On visited her body in the hospital, the doctors informed her that she had gone into momentary shock. However, they couldn’t guarantee what would happen to her in case of another shock. However, her body started to show signs of improvement.
Meanwhile, Na-On, still in Eun-Ho’s body, reached his home. She received a message from the shoe factory owner. He noted that the CCTV didn’t have a memory card when he checked on the night of the incident. However, the police claimed that they found one. On the other hand, Do Yu-Mi, who replaced Na-On as the team leader, made a startling revelation in a news interview. She stated that Na-On didn’t attempt to kill herself but fell as she was drunk.
Later, Na-On reached the office to confront Yu-Mi. The latter wasn’t aware of Na-On living in Eun-Ho’s body and stressed that her statement was true. Fellow employees then rushed in to inform that Na-On had returned. Although Na-On returned, Eun-Ho was living inside of her. With swapped souls, Na-On and Eun-Ho struggled to understand what had transpired between them.
Meanwhile, fellow employees comprehended Na-On’s return. The Na-On living in Eun-Ho’s body announced that she would join the underground team. At night, the duo tried to clarify misunderstandings between them. Eun-Ho, who lived in Na-On’s body, revealed that he didn’t reveal the scandal with XU Cosmetics. He also clarified that Yeol-Sup was only his friend.
Eun-Ho, who lived in Na-On’s body, asked her to stop suspecting him. They returned to Na-On’s home at night and attempted to reverse their soul swap. The night their kiss led to their souls getting swapped. The two indulged in another kiss in an attempt to return to their bodies. After the kiss, the duo smiled at each other. Meanwhile, Yeol-Sup stated that she had been holding on for too long, indicating a secret that might change their lives.
