Justin Baldoni has recently introduced a new look amidst his legal battle with Blake Lively, following her lawsuit. The actor and filmmaker was spotted with a brand-new haircut, leading to much speculation in the media and among fans. Notably, Baldoni and Lively worked together on the 2024 film, It Ends With Us. While the movie was a box-office success, the two leveled multiple allegations against each other, filing lawsuits and counter-lawsuits.
So, here are all the details fans need to know about Baldoni’s recent change of look.
Justin Baldoni spotted with new look amid Blake Lively lawsuit
The Jane the Virgin actor was recently seen in Hawaii with his kids, Maiya and Maxwell, sporting a new haircut. Over the years, he has often been seen with his staple long and curly hair.
However, the new photos shared by Daily Mail show Justin Baldoni with shorter hair, with sides trimmed close to the scalp. He also had a sleeveless undershirt and shorts on, along with a pair of sunglasses. Baldoni and the children reportedly went out to get shaved ice. The actor-filmmaker married Swedish actress Emily Foxler in July 2013 in Corona, California. Their daughter, Maiya Grace, was born in June 2015, and they welcomed their son, Maxwell Roland-Samuel, in October 2017.
Baldoni directed It Ends With Us and portrayed the character Ryle Kincaid in the movie. His production company, Wayfarer Entertainment, also produced the project. It arrived in US theaters on August 9, 2024, and as mentioned above, became a massive hit. However, Blake Lively drew criticism while promoting It Ends With Us for allegedly being “tone-deaf.”
In December 2024, the actress approached the California Civil Rights Department to file a legal complaint against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and intimidation. Shortly after, the talent agency WME terminated its contract with him. (via CNN)
In the same month, Baldoni also filed a $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times after the outlet published an exposé on the controversy. Toward the end of the month, Lively sued him, leveling the same allegations as the ones she mentioned in her legal complaint. Later, Baldoni brought a $400 million lawsuit against the Gossip Girl star, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloan.
